What is PDLLA

Poly-D, L-Lactic Acid(PDLLA) is an isomer of Poly Lactic Acid(PLA) in which the D-form and L-form of lactic acids are bonded in random order, maximizing the contact surface area involved in collagen production.

PDLLA is a polymer extracted from 100% pure nature and has been approved by FDA that can be used in the human body.

Thanks to its biocompatibility and biodegradability, PDLLA is widely used in the medical field to fabricate resorbable medical devices and is also used for drug delivery.

How does Juvelook work

Particle structure

Outer structure- Spherical and foamy shape

  • Minimize the damage on surrounding tissue

Inner structure- Patented reticular and porous structure

  • Better biocompatibility and biodegradability

  • Slow decomposition from the inside prevents drastic acidity change around the particles

PDLLA stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers through

Lower glass transition temperature
makes Juvelook and Lenisna safer

PDLLA has a comparatively lower glass transition temperature than other polymer-based particles. After reconstitution, its glass transition temperature drops from 50°C to 39°C and then can be easily softened by heating and applying pressure.
